Thermoskin Nerve Stimulator (TENS) device uses gentle electro currents to provide targeted pain relief. These pulses block the nerves from transmitting pain signals to the body's pain centre. Ideal for treating aching muscles and joints on arms, leg, shoulders, back and back of neck.

1. Before You Start
- Charge the device using the provided USB cable before first use.
- Attach the electrode pads to the device by aligning and snapping the metal buckles into place.
- Remove the protective film from the gel pads.
- Apply the device directly onto clean, dry skin in the desired treatment area.
2. Powering On
- To turn the device on, press and hold the power button (⏻) until you hear a beep.
- The device will start in Mode 1 with intensity set to level 0 (no stimulation).
- To turn it off, press and hold the same button again.
3. Adjusting Intensity
- Press the “+” button to increase stimulation intensity.
- Press the “–” button to decrease intensity.
- There are 16 intensity levels (0–16). Increase gradually to find the most comfortable level.
- The device detects when the pads are properly attached to the skin and adjusts accordingly.
4. Selecting a Mode
- The device has 3 therapy modes.
- Short press the mode button (⚙) to switch between them.
- Each time you change modes, the intensity will reset to level 1 for your safety.
5. Automatic or Manual Shutdown
- Each treatment session lasts 15 minutes and will automatically shut off afterward.
- If left idle for 30 seconds, the device will shut down to save power.
- You can also manually turn off the device at any time by pressing and holding the power button.
6. Charging the Device
- If the device won’t power on, shuts off unexpectedly, or emits a warning beep for 30 seconds, it likely needs recharging.
- Charge the device using the provided USB cable.
- If the battery indicator flashes, recharge before use.
- Always fully charge the device before first use or after prolonged storage (1 month+).
- Do not use or charge the device in environments over 45°C, as this may affect battery life.

What is a TENS device and how does it work?

How long should I use it for each session?
The TENS machine operates in 15-minute cycles with an automatic shut-off and can be restarted as needed. You can use it multiple times a day, but we recommend no more than 3 sessions per day unless advised by your healthcare provider.
Can I use the TENS device on any part of the body?
It can be used on most muscle and joint areas, but avoid the head, throat, chest (if you have heart problems), and directly over the spine or broken skin. Always follow the instructions or consult a health professional for proper placement.
Does the device come with replacement pads?
The device comes with one set of reusable gel pads. Additional replacement pads can be purchased on Thermoskin.com when needed.
How long do the pads last?
Pads can be reused multiple times, typically up to 20–30 uses, depending on skin cleanliness and care. Always replace them if they lose adhesion.
Is it rechargeable or battery-operated?
The TENS Device has a rechargeable lithium design, with built-in power protection circuit.
Can I use it alongside other Thermoskin supports or braces?
Yes. The TENS device can be used before or after applying Thermoskin braces or supports to aid in pain management and recovery.
